What we do

Since 2018

The Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival, Inc. (TBCGF) has been an agent for equity, wellness, and cultural celebration in underserved communities. Through high-impact programs and partnerships, we address systemic health and economic disparities by uplifting the cultural, nutritional, and entrepreneurial strengths of Black and Brown communities.

Our initiatives focus on:

Health Equity & Nutrition Education
We deliver accessible, culturally informed wellness programs, including health screenings, fitness events, and nutrition education, that directly combat preventable diseases and improve quality of life.
Economic Empowerment
We strengthen local economies by supporting small businesses, advancing financial literacy, and creating income-generating opportunities—especially for youth, seniors, and entrepreneurs of color.
Youth Development & Leadership
From entrepreneurship accelerators to career-readiness camps, we invest in young people by equipping them with tools for lifelong success, wellness, and civic engagement.
Cultural Preservation & Community Building
We create inclusive spaces to celebrate African American heritage through art, storytelling, and festivals—fostering pride, resilience, and belonging.
